Isle of Capri

Day 20 - Isle of Capri

Maiori, Positano, Capri, Maiori

Wednesday, 18 May 2011
Today we had an enjoyable day catching the ferry across to Marina Grande, on the Isle of Capri which the Roman emperor Tiberius made his capital.
On arrival we boarded a local (mini) coach for a short orientation tour of this dramatic island. First we were taken to the town of Anacapri which was delightful and quiet. Later we were taken to Capri which was very busy. We walked right up to ?..?
