Day 21 - Amalfi Coast & Positano.

The Amalfi Coast is famous for its twisting winding scenic drive with picturesque villages and towns hugging the cliffs and craggy coves.
This morning we caught a ferry from Maori along the dramatic coastline to our morning stop in Amalfi. Amalfi was delightful but we only had about an hour here.
We continued by ferry to Positano. This town clings in tiers to the rockface down the steep, rugged hillside to the old port which is only directly accessible by boat. We walked up and down the back lane ways, had lunch and looked in the many shops. It was very nice but definitely a popular tourist destination.
Mid-afternoon we returned by ferry to Maiori where the remainder of the afternoon was at leisure to relax and enjoy our surroundings. Jason had a swim in the freezing cold swimming pool with the two boys!
